Solar Energy Systems

Run solar projects from site survey to commissioning

Quoting, procurement, on-site installation and maintenance in one system, with margin visible per project.

Solar Energy Systems

Solar is a sales business, a project business and a service business at once. The sales cycle is long, the components expensive, the installation on site, and the revenue spread over years. No company holding those four parts in separate spreadsheets sees a project’s real margin in time.

Survey & Quote

Manage a long sales cycle without losing the thread

The roof survey, consumption analysis, capacity calculation and quote revisions all gather on one opportunity record. The dashboard shows which quote is waiting at which stage, who is calling and the expected close date.

  • Opportunity pipeline and stage tracking
  • Quotes including capacity and payback period
  • Revision history and customer approval
  • Fast preparation with quote templates

Procurement & Installation

Panels, inverters and installation in one project

An accepted quote becomes a project: the material list goes to purchasing and the installation tasks to the field crew. Long lead-time items are ordered ahead, so delays never reach the site.

  • Project and material list from the quote
  • Early sourcing for long lead-time items
  • Field crew task scheduling
  • Panel and inverter tracking by serial number

Commissioning & Maintenance

The project ends; the relationship should not

The commissioning checklist, acceptance record and warranty details are all captured. A recurring cleaning and maintenance contract then takes over — a one-off sale becomes recurring revenue.

  • Commissioning checklist and acceptance record
  • Warranty and serial number records
  • Recurring cleaning or maintenance contract
  • Actual profitability report per project

Frequently asked questions

Can we see profitability separately for each solar project?
Yes. Every installation is opened as a project; panels, inverters, mounting structure and installation labour are booked to it. Planned and actual cost are shown side by side.
Can we order long lead-time equipment in advance?
Yes. Every line on the bill of materials has a defined lead time; the system works backwards from the installation date to suggest when to order. A late panel or inverter no longer stops the site.
Can a maintenance contract be set up after installation?
Yes. Once commissioning is complete a periodic cleaning and maintenance contract starts; visits are scheduled automatically and recurring invoices are issued. A one-off sale becomes recurring revenue.
